Pet Tech™ First Aid Courses
We all want what’s best for our pets – the best food we can find, safe toys, plenty of exercise, a comfortable place to sleep at night, and so much more. We go out of our way to give our pets the best life possible.
But … in your quest to give your pet the best life possible, have you learned what to do in case of an emergency? Would you know what to do if your pet came in with a bleeding gash on his leg, choked on a chew toy, suffered a snake bite or bee sting, or simply stopped breathing?
According to the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), 1 out of 4 pets would survive an emergency if just 1 pet first-aid technique was applied before getting them to an emergency veterinarian. So, if you're armed with emergency reaction skills, you could help save your pet's life!
Paws Pet First Aid and Pet Tech™ share the same mission. To empower all pet owners, including those who use pet sitters in Dayton, Ohio, with the knowledge, skills, and techniques of pet first aid and care. The course is based on the Handbook of Veterinary Procedures and Emergency Treatment, the reference guide that all emergency veterinarians refer to.
This class is perfect for pet parents, pet professionals, and even pet sitters in Dayton, Ohio, like those from Special Friends Pet Sitting Service LLC. The training is taught by lecture, demonstration, and hands-on skills practice. The class includes a handbook and, upon successful completion, each participant will receive a certificate good for 2 years.
