Pet Tech™ First Aid Courses
We all want what’s best for our pets – the best food we can find, toys that are safe,, plenty of exercise, a comfortable place to sleep at night, and so much more. We go out of our way to give our pets the best life possible.
But … in your quest to give your pet the best life possible, have you learned what to do in case of an emergency? Would you know what to do if your pet came in with a bleeding gash on his leg, choked on a chew toy, suffered a snake bite or bee sting, or simply stopped breathing?
According to the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), 1 out of 4 pets would survive an emergency if just 1 pet first-aid technique was applied before getting them to an emergency
veterinarian. So, if you're armed with emergency reaction skills, you could help save your pets life!
Paws Pet First Aid and Pet Tech™ share the same mission. To empower all pet owners
with the knowledge, skills and techniques of pet first aid and care. The course is based upon the Handbook of Veterinary Procedures and Emergency Treatment, the reference guide that all emergency veterinarians refer to.
This class is perfect for pet parents and all pet professionals. The training is taught by lecture, demonstration and hands-on skills practice. The class includes a handbook and, upon successful completion, each participant will receive a certificate good for 2 years.
