Becky - Pet Sitter
Becky has worked in customer service most of her career and wanted to make a change to something that speaks to her heart. She has been an animal lover her whole life from scaly to fluffy!
She joined the Special Friends team in June of 2024.
Becky has 3 cats and 1 dog at home and loves them like her own children! She likes to spend her free time with photography, art, and video games. She also loves cuddling and playing with her fur babies. Currently Becky resides in Moraine with her partner.
CHLOE - Pet Sitter
Chloe joined the team in Spring 2026.
Chloe is a recent graduate from Indiana University, Bloomington who is currently studying for her Alternative Resident Educator's License! She says that she has always been an animal lover and that there's never been a time in her life without pets in the house. Outside of her passion for animals and teaching, she is an avid sports fan, enjoys all mediums of storytelling whether it be movies, television, books or video games, and loves spending time with friends and family, including her German Shepard, Zeus and Great Dane, Ripley.
Eimile - Pet Sitter
Eimile joined the Special Friends team in Fall of 2023.
When she’s not gaming or reading, she enjoys hiking and photography. She has always had a love for animals; always catching snakes and frogs and turtles when on a hike. Her first job was working for an exotic vet, and her love for everything furry and scaly only grew from there!
Jeremy - Pet Sitter
Jeremy joined the Special Friends family in the Fall of 2024.
When he is not pet sitting, Jeremy enjoys time with his wife and their four cats. He enjoys video games, learning history, and is a huge Godzilla fan!
Jordan - Pet Sitter
Jordan joined the Special Friends team in May of 2022! He was always to go-to for any pet care needs in his hometown of Jackson, OH.
Outside of animals he has a passion for sports, video games, and collecting comic books. Currently, Jordan resides in Miamisburg with his girlfriend.
kayla - Pet Sitter
Kayla joined the Special Friends Pet Sitting team in May 2026.
She is an Air Force veteran that moved to Dayton in 2020; prior to that, she lived in San Antonio, Pittsburgh, and upstate NY. In her down time, Kayla loves to crochet and hang out with her son and husband. Kayla has had various animals her entire life (hamsters, turtles, fish, cats, dogs, hermit crabs, snakes, and more) and used to regularly volunteer at the San Antonio SPCA. Currently Kayla has two cats of her own. She looks forward to caring for your pets!
Kristie - Pet Sitter
Kristie joined the Special Friends team in May of 2023. She is a part-time high school teacher, and loves having the opportunity to care for your pets when she's not in the classroom.
Kristie lives in Enon with her husband of 31 years, and their youngest son. She has never had a time in her life without pets. Over the years, she's had dogs, a cat, a lizard, two rats, hamsters, gerbils, and fish. She currently has two beloved dogs named Rylee and Roxie. Kristie is lucky enough to have four granddogs that she loves spending time with as well. She's looking forward to the next opportunity to care for your pets!
Mary - Pet Sitter
Mary recently retired from an engineering career at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and joined the Special Friends team in Spring of 2019.
She has always been an animal lover and has had many pets including parakeets, turtles, dogs, and cats. She has been a volunteer for SICSA since 1995 with a pet facilitated therapy program and an organizer of SICSA’s annual Red Dog Racer’s auction year round to prepare for and accomplish the auction for the spay/neuter program.
Mary is now enjoying retirement and her dream job of walking dogs and taking care of pets! She looks forward to meeting and caring for your beloved pets.
Michelle - Pet Sitter
Michelle has been with Special Friends since the fall of 2005. In addition to pet sitting, Michelle is also a part-time human caregiver and Graphic Designer.
In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her very demanding senior Pomeranian, Smokie. She also enjoys photography - chances are, if she has been your sitter, there are pictures of your pet on her phone!
monique - Pet Sitter
Monique joined the Special Friends team in Spring 2026!
She has one dog and a cat that she loves to care for and says she has always had a passion for taking care of animals. She says that her hobbies are reading and playing video games; her best friend is her sister, and they enjoy playing games together.
Phyllis - Pet Sitter
Phyllis joined the Special Friends team in Summer 2022!
Phyllis says that she has always loved animals, and has had many cats and dogs over the years. Whenever she travelled, she always worried if they were being cared for properly - and being given loving attention. Now that she is retired, she has the time to be a pet sitter and can give love to pets when they are home alone while their owners are away. She considers it a privilege to do so.
When she isn’t pet sitting, Phyllis enjoys traveling, painting, museums, and cooking.
